Four girls · Four guardians
Their song wakes the guardians. The guardians wake the city. Together, they take back the light.
When the Kage drain Japan's cities of color and sound, SHIN4 call their giant guardian beasts, rally everyone around them, and fight side by side until every color comes home.

Guardians
Every day they are palm-sized. In battle, they grow into the four great guardians.
The World
When people get too busy to sing and laugh, the colors and sounds they drop sink into the shadows and become Kage. SHIN4 never destroy them. They purify them, and the colors fly home.
Fist-sized blobs of ink with wobbly little feet. They bump into each other a lot, and go "poof!" into ink dots when a guardian chases them.
Four city bosses, each made from a city's own landmark.
“If no one will listen, then let the whole world be silent.”
She was once a singer. When no one listened, she lost her voice. Every Kage rises from the gray mist of her gown, and only a song sung by the whole city can reach her.

SHIN4 is made for kids and families. We built this site so that children can enjoy it without sharing anything about themselves.
Nothing. There are no accounts, sign-ups, comments or forms on this site, and we never ask for a name, age, photo, address or any other personal information.
The transformation buttons and the other games run only in your browser. The quiz sends one anonymous number to our counter so we can show how many people picked each season. That is all it sends: no name, no age, no account, nothing that could identify anyone. Your own choice is remembered only in your browser so the page can show your result again.
We do not add advertising, analytics or tracking tools. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (such as browser type and time of visit) to keep the site running and secure.
Our music videos are provided by YouTube. Nothing from YouTube loads until you press play, and the player uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once a video plays, YouTube's own privacy policy applies. We recommend that a parent or guardian is with young children when they watch.
If a parent or guardian contacts us by email, we use the address only to reply and do not share it with anyone. Please don't let children email us directly.
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Questions: chihayashi2021@gmail.com
